Let's Go See A Netcare Helicopter Pilot On Duty

Join us on a truly special tour of Netcare’s helicopter base at CT International Airport where we’ll get to see, touch, feel and even go inside Netcare’s highly specialised helicopter, designed to transport critical patients to hospital. The tour will be done by one of Cape Town’s most experienced pilots, with thousands of flight hours in anti-poaching, fire-fighting, long-line flying and search and rescue. His stories are legendary and he will share some of his career highlights with us. We will learn about flying helicopters in general, what it entails and how they function, as well as hear from Netcare’s ER staff and how they treat patients while in flight to their destination. We will also learn about Netcare's crucial role in emergency medical services. As a bonus, we will also get to see other luxurious private planes that are parked at the same hangar!
